Dr. Peter Antevy is the CEO and Founder of Pediatric Emergency Standards Inc. He is a pediatric emergency medicine physician at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital where he serves his community by treating sick and injured pediatric patients. He also serves as the Medical Director of Davie Fire-Rescue, Associate Medical Director of Miramar Fire Rescue and is the Medical Director of the EMS Division of Broward College. Dr. Antevy is highly trained, holding degrees from the University of Miami School of Medicine, Los Angeles Children’s Hospital and The Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. While his expertise is in pediatric emergencies, Dr. Antevy is well versed in adult emergency medicine and has spent a significant amount of time in the pre-hospital arena.
Dr. Antevy also has a degree in medical education and dedicates his time and efforts to enhancing the quality of pediatric emergency care amongst hospital and pre-hospital providers. Through innovative educational techniques and products, Dr. Antevy expands the boundaries of pediatric education and is determined to spread this knowledge to all health care providers who come into contact with critically ill children.
