Mission Statement

Pediatric Emergency Standards Inc. was created to advance the quality of pediatric emergency medical care to all sick and injured children. Our mission is to enhance department efficiency, improve quality of care and increase patient satisfaction using an innovative and practical approach.

All emergency departments who treat children stand to benefit greatly from the unique style and comprehensive approach provided by the PES team. Our team consists of highly trained and experienced physicians and nurses who specialize in pediatric emergency care as well as administrators and ancillary staff who understand the intricacies of quality, safe and effective health care for children.

Pediatric Emergency Standards Inc. offers a variety of services and products including a thorough evaluation of your pediatric or pre-hospital program with provision of a gap analysis. Additionally, the PES team can improve your quality of care through their diverse lecture program, interactive mock codes, updated protocols, and creative patient satisfaction techniques.

Most recently, Pediatric Emergency Standards Inc. introduced an innovative product, the Handtevy, which allows health care providers to rapidly determine critical drug doses required in a code situation. Hospitals and EMS departments have embraced the Handtevy which has the potential to significantly improve the care provided to critically ill children.

Physicians, nurses and prehospital providers have raved about the personal, hands-on approach provided by the PES team. Utilizing this highly interactive method results in an improved sense of teamwork with renewed confidence that ultimately leads to enhanced quality, fewer errors and increased patient satisfaction.
